To become a training provider, individuals or organizations must first meet a set of prerequisites that typically include a deep understanding of the subject matter, relevant industry experience, and a proven track record of expertise. This foundation ensures that trainers are well-equipped to offer valuable insights and guidance to their learners. Additionally, possessing a CAIBOK certification of a certain level is required. The level depends on the level of training offered.

Qualifications for training providers include strong communication skills, the ability to engage and inspire learners, and a commitment to staying updated with the latest trends and developments in the Culinary Arts International Body of Knowledge, and the culinary industry in general. For organizations, having qualified mentors, and the necessary resources to facilitate learning are crucial. Meeting these qualifications not only enhances the learning experience but also builds trust and reliability among potential students and partners.

Responsibilities

  • Adhere to CAIBOK guidelines and principles as outlined in the Body of Knowledge.

  • Keep current CAIBOK training registration for all courses and services provided.

  • Uphold ethical business and social standards.

  • Maintain productive and comfortable learning systems and environments.

  • Retain positive reviews from candidates 

Qualifications

  • Knowledge and understanding of CAIBOK principles, mission, and standards.

  • Hold a CAIBOK Red or Black Belt certification, or be an educational institution recognized by CAIBOK.

  • Experience in the field of culinary arts and hospitality management.

  • For in person mentorship or internship, a commercial kitchen is rquired.

  • For online training, a LMS and experience in offering online education is required.

Bonus Qualifications

Contributions to the Body of Knowledge and participation in community forums are a plus.
